You can add up to 32 alarms from the 40 different pre-set reminders. Follow these steps to setup an alarm:
1. Select Alarm:
Press MENU > Press arrow down to navigate to Alarms then press OK > If this is your first alarm, press OK to select Alarm 1. If this is not your first alarm, use the arrow down button to navigate to the next alarm e.g. Alarm 2 > Press OK
2. Set Time:
Press OK on Set Time to edit > The hour of the day will be underlined > Use up and down buttons to change the hour of the day > Use the left and right to move to the minutes > Use up and down buttons to change the minutes > Press OK
3. Set Date:
Press arrow down button to navigate to Set Date > Press OK > The day will be underlined > Use up and down buttons to change the day > Use the left and right buttons to move to the month > Use up and down buttons to change the month > Use the left and right buttons to move to the year > Use up and down buttons to change the year > Press OK
4. Set Repeat:

Here's how you can view the photos you took:
- Press Menu.
- Select Application.
- Select My Files.
- Select Photos and they should be all there.
The blue light is an indicator that the memory could be full or there are unread messages or missed calls. Kindly make sure all messages and missed calls are seen. Otherwise, you may need to delete some messages or call logs to clear the phone’s memory.
Please follow the below helpful steps to resolve this.
1.Check if the phone is charged. When charging using the dock, the indicator on the dock will display red. When fully charged, it will turn green. If the phone is not placed properly on the dock, the indicator will display green, please reposition the phone until it is well placed and displaying red.
If the phone won’t charge using the dock, try charging it directly from the cable charger.
2. If it is charged up, please press the hang up button (red button on the keypad) long and hard for about 10 seconds till the phone turns on.
Please follow the below easy and helpful troubleshooting steps:
1. We suggest cleaning the battery terminals from dust.
2. Please make sure that the small battery sticker has been removed.
3. When charging using the dock, the indicator on the dock will display red. When fully charged, it will turn green. If the phone is not placed properly on the dock, the indicator will display green, please reposition the phone until it is well placed and displaying red.
4. If the phone won’t charge using the dock, try charging it directly from the cable charger it comes with.
5. If possible, try using another USB type B charger to determine whether it's a faulty phone or charger.
This can be easily corrected through the text settings, to do just that, please follow the below instructions:
1. Press Menu then select Message and press OK.
2. Select Write Message, then press the arrow down to move the cursor to message field. Press the # button, select Abc then press OK. You can now type and send your message.
The torch has 2 switches below:
- The slide button at the left hand side of the phone. Slide it up to turn on the torch then slide it down to turn it off.
- The keypad 0. Long press the "0" from your keypad for about 10 seconds until the torch comes on or off.
If you turned it on using the slide button, you have to turn it off from there as well. Same goes with the keypad "0".
Here are the things we can advise you to do and check to resolve this issue:
- Please check that there's great network coverage in your area.
- Please check if the mobile number you're sending a message to is correct. You can also try sending a message to someone else and not just one mobile number.
- If you're using a prepaid sim, please make sure it has enough credit on it.
- Try to restore the phone back to its factory settings. To do that, please follow the below steps:
a. Press Menu then go to Settings.
b. Select Phone settings.
c. Select Restore factory Settings.
d. Input password as 0000 and press OK.
Once done, please try to send a message again, if still is not working, please proceed to step 5.
5. Lastly, try to insert that same sim card to a working mobile phone. This is to determine whether it's a faulty sim or faulty phone.
If that same sim card works with another phone, that means the phone is faulty. Please reach out to us so we can help further.
If the sim card still is not working with the other phone, could be a faulty sim card. It's best to contact your network provider so they can provide you a replacement sim card. You can ask them for a blank sim to keep your mobile number.
The steps to extend the ring time varies on what network provider you are currently using. Please check the step by step process here: Extend the ringing time.
Here are a few tips to resolve this.
- Please make sure that the battery is fully charged. The light indicator at the top left of the phone turns red when charging and will turn green once it's fully charged.
- Now that the phone is fully charged, please press the red button on the keypad long and hard for 10 seconds to turn the phone on.
Please follow the below steps to restore your phone to factory settings:
a. Press Menu, use the arrow keys and select Settings.
b. Select Phone settings, use the arrow keys and select Restore factory settings.
c. Enter the password 0000 and press OK. Then press ok again when prompted to "Restore factory settings?"
Open your contacts and check for below:
- Saved on SIM: If you see a SIM card icon next to the contact in contacts. If you reset your phone then the contacts will not be lost.
- Saved on Phone: If you see a head/avatar icon next to the contact in contacts. To prevent losing these contacts, you’ll need to back them up to your SIM card first before resetting the phone.
Follow the below steps:
- Open your Contacts.
- Use the arrow keys to select Import/Export and press OK.
- Select Copy.
- Choose Copy from and press OK. Select Phone and press OK, then press Back.
- Select Copy to and press OK. Select SIM and press OK, then press Back.
- Once this is set, press Copy, then go to Options and select Mark All. Afterward, press Options again and select OK.

Our mobile phones don't generally use the internet as there is no browser and/or apps on it. However, it does come with 5GB of data. Customers receive notifications at 50%, 80%, and 100% of their data usage.
If you exceed this then you’ll be charged for $11 per top up of 2GB and you’ll be notified once it has been enabled. You can top up for a maximum of 5 times within a billing cycle. Once that’s been exhausted, it will be restricted until the next billing cycle. This prevents any unexpected bill shock from occurring, by receiving notifications and limiting any excess charges.
You need to enter the sim ICCID number, a 13 digit number located at the back on the sim, your name, physical address and payment information for direct debit purposes.
You also have to choose from either getting a new mobile number or porting an existing mobile number. Should you port your number, please enter the number you're porting across, current account number for postpaid service only, existing carrier and your date of birth.
If you ordered a mobile phone plan, you will receive a welcome letter and SIM card with your order. Go to https://simplybig.com.au/pages/activation-request and complete the activation request form. This will take a few hours as we need to pass on the information to Telstra. We'll send you an email once the sim card has been activated.
There's an option for you to block international calls and international roaming during sim activation. In case you realize it late, please reach out to us via email on contact@simplybig.com.au and we’ll be happy to process that for you.
We will send you a new sim card and welcome letter. You have the option to select a new mobile number or port your existing number during the sim activation process.

You can cancel anytime. Just send us an email to cancel your service and we will cancel it within 1 business day. If you wish to keep the same number, it is recommended that you have already ported your phone number to another provider if still required as canceling your account will deactivate your mobile number.
Yes, absolutely. You can keep the plan and take advantage of the unlimited calls and SMS even after you return the phone. Please keep in mind that you will regularly be billed for it should you keep the plan active.
