We also have a risk free trial for 60 days and 24 months warranty for all our products. 

 

 

Unfortunately, as an online store we do not provide a pickup facility as this allows us to keep overheads low and as a result keep our prices low.

We provide a 2 year warranty period, so if there are any faults with your product then please get in touch with us to contact@simplybig.com.au and we will look after you.

Returns are allowed for any purchases within 60 days of your order if you change your mind for a full refund, please contact our customer service team to request to return your order. The goods are required to be returned in a condition acceptable for resale unless the goods are faulty.

No, it does not run on batteries. It is power plugged in. It has a small battery that serves as a back-up during quick power interruption.

Yes, this is wall-mountable. It comes with a stand as well.

No, it does not require Wi-Fi. It is controlled using the buttons at the back or the remote control it comes with.

 

No, the clock can only be set-up and adjusted in person, however, we are continuously innovating and hopefully will be able to add that feature in the near future. 

Unfortunately, the alarm sounds cannot be changed. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. 

 

Yes, it does have daylight savings option. To set it up, Press MENU > Select Daylight Saving Time > Press left/right arrow to toggle between countries you are in > Press OK to save > Press MENU to exit.  
Press MENU > Select Volume > Press arrow left or right to select your desired volume (10 being the highest setting and 1 being the lowest setting).  

You can program the reminders into the clock using the back of the clock or the remote control to select from the list of reminder messages and the desired date, time and repeat schedule.

Using the remote control, to set a reminder/alarm, press MENU > Select Alarm Status > press OK one of the 12 groups of alarms > press UP or DOWN to edit the Time, Date, Repeat, Tag settings for that alarm > Press MENU to exit.

Unfortunately, you can not personalise the reminders. We made sure that all important reminders are added. there are 40 preset important daily reminders in the clock that you can select from. 

Not, at the moment. The clock will sound an alarm if there's a reminder for the day, however you will need to read the reminder. 

This will be rolled out soon so stay-tuned. 

The clock and reminders can only be set-up and adjusted in person, however, we are continuously innovating and hopefully we'll be able to add that feature in the near future.

Yes, the clock can be set to either 12 hours format showing AM or PM or 24 hours showing military time. To do this, plese follow below steps:

Using the button at the back of the clock: Press MENU > Select Time Mode > press the left or right arrow to switch to 12 Hour or 24 Hour > Press MENU to exit.  

Using the remote: Press EXIT/SETUP > Select Time Mode > press the left or right arrow to switch to 12 Hour or 24 Hour >  Press EXIT/SETUP.

 

Please hold the OK button in the remote control to change between the different clock displays. You have three options like in the picture: digital in colour, digital in black and white and analog in black and white. View the different displays.

Yes, it can either display the time in Digital/numbers or Analog/clock display.

 

Press MENU > Select Show Period of Day then press OK > Press left/right arrow to switch on or off > Press OK to save > Press MENU to exit.

The height of the text for each section displayed on the screen is: Time e.g. 8:00am - 5.08 cm Day of the week e.g. Tuesday - 2.54 cm Time of the day e.g. Morning - 1.27 cm Date e.g. 12 March 2024 - 1.5 cm      

The clock automatically dim it's brightness during night time. Normal brightness starts from 7:00am to 6:59pm, screen dimmed to low brightness from 7:00pm to 6:59am. To set that up, press MENU > Select Automatic brightness > press OK to switch to AUTO > Press MENU to exit.

 

Press MENU > Select Screen Brightness > press OK to switch to one of the six modes (auto, level1 being the lowest setting level2, level3, level4, level5 being the highest setting) you prefer > Press MENU to exit.

Yes, The phone fits a nano (smallest) sim card and it's unlocked to all network so you can use any sim card of your choice. 

Yes, our mobile phone can pair with hearing aids through bluetooth. It currently has V5.1 bluetooth version.

 

Our mobile phone doesn't have the feature to connect to the internet let alone download apps on it as we aim make it simple and to optimize the operating system to extend the battery life.

Yes, you can send and receive photos via text. The phone has single back camera, just press the arrow down on your keypad to access the camera to take pictures and even videos.

The blue light is an indicator that the memory could be full or there are unread messages or missed calls. Kindly make sure all messages and missed calls are seen. Otherwise, you may need to delete some messages or call logs to clear the phone’s memory.

Yes, it does come with a cord charger as well as the dock.

Unfortunately, the text font is not adjustable. It is set to the default size of .5cm.  

Yes, it will show the missed calls, dialed numbers, received calls, rejected calls and all call logs.

Yes, predictive text is automatically enabled. To turn off the predictive text function when typing a message, press the # button and select Abc.

We have around 11 caller ringtones and 2 message ringtones you can choose from.    

If you ordered a mobile phone plan, you will receive a welcome letter and SIM card with your order. Go to https://simplybig.com.au/pages/activation-request and complete the activation request form. This will take a few hours as we need to pass on the information to Telstra. We'll send you an email once the sim card has been activated. 

You can make unlimited standard national calls to fixed and mobile numbers, including unlimited standard SMS and MMS, voicemail retrieval, and calls to 1800 and 13/1300 numbers.

 

It will be on top of your plan, however, you can add Unlimited Calls to international numbers in for only $19/month. The following countries are included: China, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, the United Kingdom, the USA, and Vietnam.

 

There's an option for you to block international calls and international roaming during sim activation. In case you realize it late, please reach out to us via email on contact@simplybig.com.au and we’ll be happy to process that for you. 

We will send you a new sim card and welcome letter. You have the option to select a new mobile number or port your existing number during the sim activation process. 

 

Upon doing sim activation, you will be prompted to key in your payment details and it will be directly debited every month. You will still receive your monthly bill but it will be directly debited from your nominated payemtn information on the due date. 

You can cancel anytime. Just send us an email to cancel your service and we will cancel the service within 1 business day. If you wish to keep the same number, it is recommended that you have already ported your phone number to another provider if still required as canceling your direct debit will cancel your phone service if it has not been ported already. 

Yes, absolutely. You can keep the plan and take advantage of the unlimited calls and SMS even after you return the phone. Please keep in mind that you will be regularly be billed for it should you keep the plan active. 

Our mobile phones don't generally use the internet as there is no browser and/or apps on it. However, it does come with 5GB of data. Customers receive notifications at 50%, 80%, and 100% of their data usage.

If you exceed this then you’ll be charged for $11 per top up of 2GB and you’ll be notified once it has been enabled. You can top up for a maximum of 5 times within a billing cycle. Once that’s been exhausted, it will be restricted until the next billing cycle. This prevents any unexpected bill shock from occurring, by receiving notifications and limiting any excess charges. 

We send out bills every month so you have a records of your usage was and how much will be charged. Rest assured that the amount will be directly debited on the due date showing on your bill. 

Yes, you can but you still need to set-up for direct debit. To pay via BPAY, you can pay through BPAY before the due date. That way, the amount will not be directly debited from your nominated account on the due date.
